Spring Garden Collection
Where It Began
Spring Garden first began as part of a 2023 artist challenge, where more than 50 designers created five patterns using the same Spring Garden theme and shared color palette. From that challenge came Delicate Blooms, a pattern that quickly became one of my personal favorites and one of the most loved designs in my shop. While I still loved the original collection, revisiting it with fresh eyes showed me something important. I had created several strong focal prints, but not enough supporting coordinates to let the hero truly shine.
Rather than starting over, I chose to build on what already worked. I kept the soft watercolor textures, cheerful colors, and hand-painted details that made Delicate Blooms special, then redesigned the supporting patterns to better complement the hero instead of competing with it. The result is a collection that feels more balanced, more versatile, and truer to the vision I had from the very beginning. Sometimes the best designs don’t come from starting fresh. They come from giving a favorite idea the chance to grow.
