Sweet Emily Poppies Collection

Where It Began

Sweet Emily Poppies began while I was experimenting with a softer watercolor style in Procreate. It was one of several collections where I explored these brushes, but this one felt different. The flowers seemed to flow naturally across the page, and for the first time, the style truly clicked. As the collection grew, I found myself leaning into gentle colors, delicate florals, and a light, airy feeling that became the heart of the design.

The poppies were a meaningful choice. As the wife of a retired Army veteran, they have always reminded me of the service and sacrifice they represent. I wanted to pair that symbolism with a softer perspective by creating a collection that celebrates warmth, kindness, and home. Sweet Emily Poppies was also designed with nurseries and little girls’ rooms in mind, offering a timeless floral alternative to character-themed designs. My hope is that it brings a sense of joy, comfort, and quiet beauty to the spaces where families make some of their sweetest memories.
