I'm so excited to have this newly updated space to share with you guys. As I begin to figure out how to use my oh so pretty new online site, I'd like to give a huge shout out to my dear friend, Kendall! She is my photographer, graphic designer, web designer, another military spouse, and a dear friend. You can check her out at Kendall Mariah.

So who am I, you ask? Well I am a Southern Girl through and through (be sure to check out my new Southern Girl Tee Design). I was born and raised in Florida. I absolutely LOVE a beautiful beach and a bright colored sunset. Although my heart stays in FL year round, I actually haven't lived there for the last 26 years. I married my best friend in college, 29 years and counting, and he happens to love to fly a helicopter. So Army life has been what has taken us to so many amazing places, blessed us with friends across the world and given us the opportunity to spread our wings away from the beaches of home. We have three amazing children (and I use the term "children" loosely as they are almost all adults now themselves) that like to affectionately call themselves "Military Brats", who when asked so where is "HOME" they find it tough to answer. But that hasn't stopped them yet, in embracing where they are and who they are currently with.

Finding it difficult throughout the years to maintain a career while always moving from one duty station to another, it finally clicked that owning my own small business was what God wanted me to do. So here I am. Salted Vinegar officially began about 4 year ago now. And it has really grown into more than I could have ever expected. I LOVE what I do and I LOVE that I get to share it with you guys.

So with that said, let me share a few fun studio pictures with you guys. Kendall is amazing at capturing me while I'm busy in the art studio.

So what else can you expect to find here on my page, I'm sure you wonder? Well I plan host my own shop of original artwork, art prints, originally designed t-shirts, and I'll also sprinkle in a few gifty and monogrammed items too. One of the other things that I love to do is teach Board & Brush parties. You can find out more about those, and how to host one here on the website as well. I also do custom work, and I have a page dedicated to how to order and what I can possibly create for you. On the blog, you will also find some of our favorite family recipes, some digital artwork that you can use, and maybe even a tutorial or two of how I create some of the things I love to make. I'm super excited over my new summer line launch. We have many new items, with more on the way in the near future. I have limited quantities of most of the items that are currently in my shop, so if you love an item, get it while you can. Most of these will only be here until they sell out, and then the new fall line will begin to take over.

So be sure to follow along and take this crazy ride with me. I'd love for you to get to know you guys better through my social media too.
