By the Sea Collection
Where It Began
By the Sea began with a color palette rather than a specific subject. I was drawn to the mix of watery blues, fresh greens, and soft linen white, and wanted to see where those colors would lead me. As I began experimenting with some of my favorite watercolor brushes in Procreate, loose leaves and simple organic shapes started to emerge. The movement and texture of the brushwork gave the collection its relaxed coastal feeling.
From there, I built the collection around the way the colors and watercolor marks worked together. Layered leaves became the hero, while stripes, scattered dots, and smaller botanical patterns added balance and variety. I wanted each design to feel light, natural, and easy to use throughout a home. By the Sea is a collection shaped by color, texture, and the calm feeling of being close to the water.
